## Purpose

Zweck des Vereins ist es, das Fachwissen von Rechtsanwälten, Treuhändern, Wirtschaftsprüfern, Bankern, Steuerfachleuten, Versicherungsfachleuten und Vertretern ähnlicher Berufe auf dem Gebiet der nationalen und internationalen Nachlassplanung und des Treuhandwesens zu erweitern und in der Praxis auftretende Fragen zu diskutieren. Darüber hinaus bezweckt der Verein die Interessenvertretung gegenüber Behörden und Organisationen im Rahmen von Konsultationen auf nationaler Ebene sowie die Lobbyarbeit bei internationalen und nationalen Behörden und Organisationen. Der Verein fördert alle anderen Ziele, die direkt oder indirekt mit den oben genannten Zielen in Verbindung stehen oder für deren Verbesserung als angemessen erachtet werden und die mit den Zielen der Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners STEP Worldwide, einer gegründeten Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Nachschusspflicht (Company limited by guaranty) (gegründet in England und Wales nach dem Companies Act 1985, (Register-Nr. 2632423).
