## Purpose

Ziel des Verbands ist die Interessenwahrung, Qualitätsentwicklung, sowie die Förderung und Koordination der Hilfe und Pflege zu Hause in den Kantonen SG, AR und Al unter Achtung der Selbständigkeit der einzelnen Mitgliedorganisationen. Zur Erfüllung seines Zweckes übernimmt der Spitex Verband SG, AR und AI im Wesentlichen folgende Aufgaben: Bearbeitung von Grundsatz- und Detailfragen der Hilfe und Pflege zu Hause; Information und Beratung der Mitglieder; Information der Öffentlichkeit über die Anliegen und Tätigkeiten der Organisationen der Hilfe und Pflege zu Hause; Vertretung gemeinsamer Interessen in fachlichen Gremien/Institutionen und auf politischer Ebene; Abschluss von Verträgen zur Finanzierung der Hilfe und Pflege zu Hause in den Kantonen SG, AR und Al; Unterstützung bei der Ausarbeitung von Leistungsvereinbarungen und bei der Finanzierung der Leistungen auch ausserhalb des KVG; Förderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung von Spitexpersonal und Vorständen.
