Der Verein arbeitet mit Behörden und Wirtschaftsgruppen zusammen zwecks Entwicklung von Regeln für die Ausübung der Tätigkeit der Vermögensverwalter und Trustees. Der Verein kann im Übrigen alle Geschäfte tätigen, die geeignet sind, die Entwicklung des Vereins und die Erreichung des Vereinszweckes zu fördern. Er betreibt kein nach kaufmännischer Art geführtes Gewerbe und ist nicht gewinnstrebig.
