## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft bezweckt, in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe für Seniorinnen und Senioren alters- und behindertengerechte Wohnungen zu erstellen und zu vermitteln, und diese dauernd der Spekulation zu entziehen. Sie strebt keinen Gewinn an. Die Genossenschaft hält ihre Gebäude in einem guten baulichen Zustand und erneuert sie periodisch. Sie kann auch Grundstücke, Liegenschaften und Baurechte erwerben. Beim Bauen und Umbauen ihrer Gebäude sind der Genossenschaft besonders wichtig: Hohe Nutzungsflexibilität der Wohnungen unter Berücksichtigung auch künftiger Bedürfnisse, behindertengerechtes Bauen, hochwertige Aussenräume, kommunikative und sichere Erschliessung, geringer Folgeunterhalt sowie Einsatz von ökologisch einwandfreien Materialien und Einsparung von Energie beim Bau und Betrieb. Mit einem fortlaufenden, nachhaltigen, kosten- und qualitätsbewussten Unterhalt passt die Genossenschaft ihre Gebäude an den Stand der technischen Möglichkeiten und an die zeitgemässen genossenschaftlichen Wohnbedürfnisse an und sorgt damit für die Werterhaltung der Gebäude. Dazu gehört auch die regelmässige Prüfung von Massnahmen zur Wohnwertsteigerung der Liegenschaft und ihrer Umgebung. Der Mietzins muss die kurz- und langfristige Werterhaltung und zeitgemässe Verwaltung und Genossenschaftsführung gewährleisten (Kostenmiete). Die Genossenschaft fördert die Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner (Mieterlnnen) in der Selbsthilfe, Selbstverantwortung und im nachbarlichen Zusammenleben. Die Genossenschaft kann sich an Unternehmen und Organisationen mit gleichen oder ähnlichen Zielsetzungen beteiligen. Sie ist Mitglied des Dachverbandes der Wohngenossenschaften.
