Herausgabe guter und preiswerter Schriften und weiterer Medien für Kinder und Jugendliche in allen Landessprachen, deren Verbreitung in sämtlichen Landesteilen und nach Möglichkeit auch im Ausland; unterstützt die Leseförderung und die Verständigung unter den verschiedenen Sprachgebieten, auch in Zusammenarbeit mit gleichgerichteten Organisationen.
