## Purpose

Weiterbildung für alle. Der SVEB engagiert sich für die Chancengerechtigkeit und den Zugang zum lebenslangen Lernen für alle Bevölkerungsgruppen. Der SVEB orientiert sich an den individuellen Bedürfnissen der Lernenden und am gesellschaftlichen, kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Bedarf. Der SVEB engagiert sich für gute Rahmenbedingungen in der Weiterbildung und vertritt die Weiterbildung in diesem Sinn gegenüber Behörden. Der SVEB erfüllt Aufgaben im öffentlichen Interesse und beansprucht dafür auch öffentliche Mittel. Er beteiligt sich aktiv an der Gestaltung und Entwicklung nationaler Weiterbildungsgremien. Der SVEB engagiert sich auf den vier Aktionsebenen: Bildungspolitik, Entwicklung/Innovation, Professionalisierung (Ausbildung der Ausbildenden und Qualitätssicherung) und Service.
