## Purpose

Die im Bundesgesetz über die Transplantation von Organen, Geweben und Zellen (Transplantationsgesetz) vom 8. Oktober 2004 vorgesehene Nachbetreuung von Organ-Lebendspendern schweizweit zu fördern und sicherzustellen, insbesondere in finanzieller Hinsicht. Sie führt zu diesem Zweck das Schweizerische Organ Lebendspender Gesundheits-Register ("SOL-DHR" stehend für Swiss Organ Living Donor Health Registry). Dabei geht es namentlich um die Nachbetreuung von Spendern von Niere oder Teile der Leber, aber auch von zukünftig in Frage kommenden anderen, soliden Organen wie Lungenlappen, Teile des Pankreas oder des Dünndarmes. Die Stiftung soll insbesondere Gelder, die zur Nachbetreuung von Organ-Lebendspenden zur Verfügung gestellt werden, verwalten und mit möglichst geringem Aufwand für die medizinische Nachbetreuung der Organ-Lebendspender einsetzen.
