## Purpose

Der Schweizer Padel Verband (nachfolgend SPV) als oberster Fachverband für Padel bezweckt die Förderung des Padelsportes in der Schweiz. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehören namentlich: a) Wahrung der gesamtschweizerischen Interessen der Mitglieder, insbesondere der angeschlossenen Regionalverbände, Padelclubs und Padel-Centern; b) Einhaltung der Padelregeln gemäss den Reglementen des Internationalen Padel Verbandes; c) Vergabe, Organisation und Überwachung von Meisterschaften und anderen Padelveranstaltungen mit nationalem und internationalem Charakter, insbesondere die Aufstellung der Nationalmannschaften; d) Erlass von Reglementen für Wettkampf; e) Koordination und Förderung der Aus- und Weiterbildung aller Padelsporttreibenden; f) Erlass von Weisungen und Empfehlungen im Hinblick auf die geordnete Weiterentwicklung des Padelsportes; g) Homologierung von Padelplätzen; h) Pflege der Kommunikation verbandsintern und nach aussen sowie der Beziehungen zu in- und ausländischen Organisationen auf dem Gebiet des Padelsports; i) Weitere Massnahmen, welche geeignet sind, der Sache des Padelsports zu dienen. Der SPV ist Mitglied des Internationalen Padel Verbands FIP (Federation International de Padel) und als offizieller Vertreter des Padelsportes in der Schweiz anerkannt. Er kann anderen nationalen und internationalen Organisationen beitreten.
