## Purpose

Als Branchenorganisation der schweizerischen Verleger von Adressverzeichnissen und Datenbanken oder von ähnlichen Nachschlagewerken in gedruckter oder immaterieller Form verfolgt der SADV folgende Zwecke: (a) Er wahrt die Interessen der Branche und setzt sich für ihr Ansehen ein; (b) er fördert die Zusammenarbeit und den Gedankenaustausch zwischen den Mitgliedern; (c) er vermittelt bei Differenzen zwischen den Mitgliedern; (d) er bekämpft unlautere Erscheinungen im Adressbuchwesen, sowohl innerhalb als auch ausserhalb der Mitgliedschaft; (e) er fördert den Einfluss der Branche in der schweizerischen Werbewirtschaft; (f) er pflegt Beziehungen zu Behörden sowie zu verwandten Organisationen des In- und Auslandes und vertritt bei ihnen die Interessen des SADV und der Branche.
