Company Purpose

Der Vereinszweck von Save the Children ist der Schutz, die Förderung und die Umsetzung der Kinderrechte weltweit. Dazu leistet der Verein im In- und Ausland materielle Hilfe und Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe für benachteiligte, verfolgte und unterdrückte Kinder und ihre Familien und setzt sich für soziale Gerechtigkeit und für Partizipation und Mitbestimmung von Kindern ein. Der Verein ist politisch, ideologisch und konfessionell unabhängig. Seine Werte basieren auf der UN-Konvention über die Rechte des Kindes und auf der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Menschenrechte.
