## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Hilfe an Bedürftige Bergbauern in den Kantonen St. Gallen und beider Appenzell für Verbesserungen an Haus und Hof. Soweit die zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel reichen, sollen zusätzlich Landwirte in den umliegenden Kantonen Thurgau, Glarus und Graubünden im Sinne des Stiftungs-Zweck bedacht werden. Zur schulischen Ausbildung von Bergbauernkindern römisch-katholischer Konfession in den Kantonen St. Gallen, beider Appenzell sowie in den umliegenden Kantonen Thurgau, Glarus und Graubünden. Soweit über den obigen Zweck hinaus Mittel zur Verfügung stehen: zur Ausbildung von Bauernkindern allgemein. Hiebei soll die Stiftung allenfalls mit entsprechenden Bauernverbänden der jeweiligen Kantone (siehe oben) zusammenarbeiten.
