## Purpose

Die Stiftung dient der Auszeichnung hervorragender Leistungen auf dem Gebiet der bildenden Kunst; sie verleiht zu diesem Zweck regelmässig einen nahmhaften Geldbetrag als Roswitha Haftmann-Preis an eine(n) lebende(n) Künstler(in). Der Preis wird in Zürich verliehen, und zwar nach Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer öffentlichen Veranstaltung im Kunsthaus.
