## Purpose

Bezweckt den künstlerischen Nachlass von Ronald und Ruth Kocher zu schützen, der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen und allenfalls wichtige Werke von Dritten zurückzukaufen; eine Auswahl von Werken beider Stifter in Wechselausstellungen in der Regel jährlich zu zeigen und diese Ausstellungen durch die umfangreiche Sammlung des Ehepaars von Werken anderer Künstler zu ergänzen; die der Stiftung gehörenden Werke auszuleihen; ein Werkverzeichnis zu erstellen; alle zwei bis drei Jahre einen Preis in bedeutender Höhe an ein bis drei weniger bekannte Schweizer Künstlerinnen oder Künstler zu verleihen, sofern die Finanzlage der Stiftung dies erlaubt. Die Höhe des Preises wird durch den Stiftungsrat bestimmt. Die Verleihung der Preise erfolgt grundsätzlich erst nach Ableben beider Stifter und soll der Talentförderung dienen.
