Der Verein erbringt seine Leistungen entsprechend den mit den Partnergemeinden abgeschlossenen Leistungsvereinbarungen und gemäss den geltenden gesetzlichen Vorgaben. Er ist bestrebt, seine Dienstleistungen zweckmässig, wirtschaftlich und flexibel zu erbringen und die dazu notwendigen Strukturen auszugestalten und weiterzuentwickeln. Der Verein ermöglicht eine angemessene Fort- und Weiterbildung auf allen Ebenen mit dem Ziel, die Qualität der Arbeit zu sichern und der Entwicklung anzupassen. Der Verein erfüllt seine Aufgaben in Zusammenarbeit mit den Hausärztinnen und Hausärzten, Spitälern und mit anderen spitexrelevanten Organisationen. Er vertritt die Anliegen der Gesundheitsförderung und -erhaltung gegenüber den betreuten Personen und deren Umfeld sowie in der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.
