## Purpose

Der Verein unterstützt Bestrebungen, die zu einer einheitlichen und kostengünstigen Datenbasis für den schweizerischen Immobilienmarkt führen. Insbesondere sucht er auch die Koordination mit amtlichen Stellen und Forschungseinrichtungen aller Art bezüglich seiner Datenbedürfnisse und der verlangten Datenlieferungen. Er führt Datenbanken seiner Mitglieder und Dritter mit Bezug zum Bau- und Immobilienmarkt und bereitet sie zum Zwecke des Benchmarking und der Forschung auf. Der Verein wird von der Branche als politisch neutrale, lediglich der Transparenz verpflichtete Non Profit-Organisation getragen. Der Verein kann auf Beschluss der Vereinsversammlung diese Datenbanken unter Wahrung der vorgeschriebenen Geheimhaltungspflicht und des Datenschutzes in eigener Rechnung führen oder durch eine Drittfirma führen lassen.
