## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die berufliche Vorsorge im Rahmen des BVG und seinen Ausführungsbestimmungen für die Arbeitnehmer der Swissport International AG, in Opfikon, sowie deren Angehörige und Hinterlassenen gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen von Alter, Tod und Invalidität. Die Stiftung kann auch über die gesetzlichen Mindestleistungen hinaus weitergehende Vorsorge betreiben, einschliesslich Unterstützungsleistungen in Notlagen bei Krankheit, Unfall, Invalidität oder Arbeitslosigkeit. Der Stiftung kann durch Beschluss des Stiftungsrates und mit Zustimmung der Stifterfirma auch das Personal von mit der Stifterfirma wirtschaftlich verbundenen Firmen angeschlossen werden, sofern der Stiftung hiezu die nötigen Mittel zur Verfügung gestellt und die Rechte der bisherigen Destinatäre nicht geschmälert werden. Der Anschluss einer wirtschaftlich verbundenen Firma erfolgt aufgrund einer schriftlichen Anschlussvereinbarung, die der Aufsichtsbehörde zur Kenntnis zu bringen ist. Zur Erreichung des Stiftungszweckes kann die Stiftung Versicherungsverträge zugunsten der Destinatäre oder eines Teiles derselben abschliessen oder in solche bestehende Verträge eintreten, wobei sie selbst Versicherungsnehmerin und Begünstigte sein muss.
