## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Sicherstellung von Rentenansprüchen. Als anspruchsberechtigt gelten diejenigen Rentenbezüger, die bereits am 31.12.1997 Destinatäre der Stiftung waren und deren Rentenansprüche spätestens per 1.1.1998 entstanden sind, sowie deren Angehörige und Hinterlassene, soweit für sie ein anwartschaftlicher reglementarischer Anspruch bestand. Die Stiftung gewährleistet die laufenden und die anwartschaftlichen Rentenansprüche mindestens in der am 1.1.1998 gültigen Höhe sowie die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Rentenanpassungen an die Preisentwicklung. Der Stiftungsrat kann über die gesetzlichen Mindestleistungen hinausgehende Rentenerhöhungen beschliessen, sofern die dafür nötigen Mittel vorhanden sind.
