## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, die Arbeitnehmer der Axel Springer Schweiz AG, einschliesslich der Mitglieder der Geschäftsleitung, gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen des Wegfalls des Erwerbseinkommens wegen Alters, vorzeitiger Erwerbsunfähigkeit (Invalidität) und Ablebens (Hinterbliebenenschutz) zu versichern. Die Stiftung erbringt mindestens die Vorsorgeleistungen gemäss BVG. Zur Erreichung des Stiftungszweckes oder einzelner Teile davon kann die Stiftung Versicherungsverträge abschliessen, wobei sie selbst Versicherungsnehmerin und Begünstige sein muss. Durch Beschluss des Stiftungsrates kann im Einvernehmen mit der Stifterin auch das Personal von Unternehmungen, die der Gruppe wirtschaftlich nahe stehen oder mit ihr verbunden sind, in die Tätigkeit der Stiftung einbezogen werden, wenn und soweit der Stiftung von diesen Unternehmen die hierzu erforderlichen Mittel zugewendet werden. Die Beziehungen zwischen den einzelnen Unternehmungen und der Stiftung werden in einem Anschlussvertrag geregelt, welcher der Aufsichtsbehörde zu deren Akten zuzustellen ist. Mit Ausnahme von Zuwendungen für die Personalvorsorge darf die Stiftung keinesfalls zu Leistungen herangezogen werden, zu denen die Arbeitgeber gesetzlich verpflichtet sind. Ausgeschlossen sind ferner Leistungen, die ein Entgelt für geleistete Arbeit darstellen oder lohnähnlichen Charakter haben (z.B. Teuerungs-, Familien- und Kinderzulagen, Gratifikationen, Dienstaltersgeschenke).
