## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die berufliche Vorsorge im Rahmen des BVG und seiner Ausführungsbestimmungen für die Mitglieder des Gründerverbandes (Verband bernischer Notare), die selbständig erwerbend sind und selbständig erwerbende Personen verwandter Berufsgruppen (insbesondere Anwälte sowie Notare aus anderen Kantonen) wie auch die AHV-beitragspflichtigen Arbeitnehmer der angeschlossenen Arbeitgeber sowie deren Hinterlassene gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen von Alter, Tod und Invalidität. Der Anschluss erfolgt durch Aufnahmebeschluss des zuständigen Organes. Im Zweifelsfall entscheidet der Stiftungsrat über die Aufnahme. Die Leistungen der Stiftung können den im BVG vorgesehenen Umfang überschreiten.
