## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Erbringung von Beiträgen an die Pensionskasse der Zürich Versicherungs-Gruppe zur Erfüllung von deren Stiftungszweck. Jene gewähren den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der Stifterin und mit dieser wirtschaftlich oder finanziell eng verbundenen Unternehmungen sowie für deren Angehörige und Hinterlassene Schutz gegen die wirtschaftlichen Folgen von Alter, Tod und Invalidität. Die Beiträge des Patronalen Finanzierungsfonds der Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG gelten als Beiträge der Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG im Sinne von Art. 331 Abs. 3 OR bzw. des Bundesgesetzes über die berufliche Alters-, Hinterlassenen- und Invalidenvorsorge. Die Stiftung kann zudem Destinatären der Vorsorgeeinrichtungen, die unverschuldet in Not geraten sind, Fürsorgeleistungen gewähren. Der Stiftungsrat entscheidet darüber nach pflichtgemässem Ermessen. Das Stiftungsvermögen darf auch zur Finanzierung von Einmaleinlagen für Leistungserhöhungen verwendet werden. Die Stiftung darf nicht zu Leistungen herangezogen werden, zu denen die Stifterin ausserhalb der Personalvorsorge verpflichtet ist. Ausgeschlossen sind ferner Leistungen, die ein Entgelt für geleistete Arbeit darstellen oder lohnähnlichen Charakter haben, wie z.B. Teuerungs-, Familien- und Kinderzulagen, Gratifikationen und Dienstaltersgeschenke.
