## Purpose

Der Zweck der PDG besteht darin, die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Mitgliedsunternehmen hinsichtlich der Verfügbarkeit und Nutzung von IP-bezogenen Informationen zu fördern. Der Zweck der PDG kann durch aktive Zusammenarbeit und/oder durch Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch in Bereichen, die mit der Verfügbarkeit, Qualität und Nutzung von Informationen über geistiges Eigentum zusammenhängen, verfolgt werden. Im Rahmen des Vereinszwecks können insbesondere folgende Aktivitäten vom Zweck umfasst sein, welche: (a.) als Forum für die Diskussion von Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit IP-bezogenen Informationen im Allgemeinen und insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Bedürfnisse der Mitgliedsunternehmen dienen, (b.) Aktivitäten wie Arbeitsgruppen oder Task Forces, die vom Vorstand oder innerhalb der Arbeitsgruppen eingerichtet werden und an denen Mitglieder gemäss vereinbarter Praktiken teilnehmen können, bereitstellen, (c.) als Forum für den Erfahrungsaustausch mit Informations- oder Technologieanbietern dienen, (d.) als internationales Gremium für Kontakte und Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Organisationen oder Büros dienen, (e.) eng mit anderen Gruppen oder Organisationen mit ähnlichen Interessen zusammenarbeiten. Die PDG verfolgt gemeinnützige Zwecke.
