## Purpose

Der Verein will als private Trägerschaft das ehemalige Gemeindespital Richterswil als allgemein zugängliches Akutspital mit dem Namen Paracelsus-Spital Richterswil auf anthroposophischer Grundlage weiterführen. Der Verein will mit dem Betrieb des Paracelsus-Spital Richterswil zudem anthroposophische Erkenntnisse für alle Bereiche der Medizin praktisch pflegen und fördern. Diese Aufgabe umfasst auch Forschung sowie Aus- und Weiterbildung in Medizin, Pflege und Therapie. Dazu gehören auch Zuwendungen an Einrichtungen und Verbände, deren Tätigkeit der Erreichung dieses Zieles dienlich ist. Der Verein kann auch eine eigene Krankenpflegeschule auf anthroposophischer Grundlage errichten und führen. Die Vereinstätigkeit soll in jedem Fall in uneigennütziger Weise der Allgemeinheit zugute kommen und dem Gemeinwohl dienen. Sämtliche Vermögenswerte des Vereins sind jeglicher spekulativer Verwendung entzogen.
