## Purpose

Die Ziele der O'pen Skiff Class Association sind: Die Verwaltung der O'pen Skiff Klasse in Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen von World Sailing und die Einhaltung der Klassenregeln. Die OSCA in der ganzen Welt zu fördern und weiterzuentwickeln und auch die Gründung von nationalen Open Skiff Class Association (NCA) zu unterstützen. Unterstützung und Vertretung der Interessen der OSCA auf der ganzen Welt. Richtlinien für die Welt- und Kontinentalmeisterschaften der O'pen Skiff Klasse aufzustellen, diese Meisterschaften zu beaufsichtigen und zu bestimmen, wo sie stattfinden werden. Die Zusammenarbeit mit Tahe Outdoors France als Bootsbauer und die Aufrechterhaltung des O'pen Skiffs als One-Design-Jolle. Die Förderung eines hohen Niveaus des Segelns und des Regattierens bei gleichzeitiger Wahrung eines fairen und sportlichen Verhaltens auf und neben dem Wasser. Den "Spaß" am Segeln zu erhalten und die einzigartige Philosophie des OSCA zu bewahren.
