## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft bezweckt: 1. die bestmöglichste Verwertung der in Maienfeld produzierten Kuhmilch; 2. rationelle Versorgung von Maienfeld mit Milch und Milchprodukten; 3. den Konsumenten von Maienfeld Gelegenheit zu geben, unter Ausschluss jeder Übervorteilung, gute Milch und Milchprodukte beziehen zu können. In Zeiten grosser Milchproduktion, d.h. wenn der Absatz nicht oder nur zu sehr tiefen Preisen möglich ist, haben die Mitglieder im Verhältnis der Einlieferung zur Selbstverwertung zu übernehmen, resp. Butter und Käse zu beziehen. Die Durchführung und Verrechnung der Selbstversorgung findet in der Weise statt, dass jeder Selbstversorger mit der für ihn verarbeiteten Milch in seinem Konto belastet wird. Er hat nur die durch den Betrieb entstandenen Mehrkosten zu bestreiten. 4. Die Genossenschaft betreibt neben dem Milchverwertungsbetrieb eine Tiefkühlanlage. Diese Anlage steht in erster Linie den Mitgliedern zur Verfügung. Die Benützung derselben ist in einem besonderen Reglement geregelt.
