## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung und Unterstützung der Ziele des Vereins "medica mondiale e.V." mit Sitz in Köln, Deutschland. Die Stiftung will zu diesem Zweck Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit in der Schweiz betreiben. Die der Stiftung durch Spenden, Legate oder andere Zuwendungen Dritter zugeflossenen Mittel kommen grundsätzlich dem Verein "medical mondiale e.V." in Deutschland, resp. mit ihm verbundenen Institutionen mit gleicher oder ähnlicher Zweckbestimmung zu. Über Ausnahmen (z.B. Verwendung von Mitteln zur Äufnung des Stiftungsvermögens, Verwendung von Mitteln zur Deckung von Verwaltungs- oder anderen Kosten sowie zur Finanzierung von Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit) entscheidet der Stiftungsrat. Die Stiftung verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
