## Purpose

Die Stiftung hat den Zweck, vier unverschuldet in finanzielle Notlage geratene Familien (zusammenlebende Ehegatten mit mindestens einem minderjährigen oder sich in Ausbildung befindlichen Kind) schweizerischer Nationalität und mit Wohnsitz im Kanton Basel-Stadt finanziell zu unterstützen. Die vier Familien werden alljährlich vom Stiftungsrat bezeichnet. Die Unterstützung soll nicht einfach zu einer Reduktion der kantonalen oder eidgenössischen Sozialbeiträge führen, sondern dort einsetzen , wo Sozialbeiträge nicht oder nicht im erforderlichen Umfang möglich sind oder gar nicht beansprucht werden.
