## Purpose

Der Verein ist autonomes Mitglied der weltweiten Lepra-Mission "The Leprosy Mission Fellowship (TLMF)". Aufgabe des Vereins ist es, Programme und Projekte zu unterstützen, die leprabetroffenen Menschen und Menschen mit Behinderungen, medizinische Hilfe und ganzheitliche Betreuung anbieten. Dazu verfolgt er folgende Ziele: Projekte und Programme in den betroffenen Ländern in Zusammenarbeit mit Partnern zu planen, begleiten und finanziell sowie personell zu unterstützen. Bei Naturkatastrophen, Konflikten und Krisen in unseren Einsatzgebieten humanitäre Hilfe zu leisten. Die Schweizer Bevölkerung über Lepra und die damit verbundenen Themen wie Armut, Ausgrenzung und Entwicklung zu informieren und ihr die Möglichkeit zu bieten, Menschen mit Lepra oder Behinderung und deren Umfeld zu unterstützen.
