## Purpose

Der Landwirtschaftliche Genossenschaftsverband Schaffhausen (GVS) ist Mitglied des Schaffhauser Bauernverbands (SHBV). Der Genossenschaftsverband ist die Dachorganisation der Landwirtschaftlichen Genossenschaften, Vereine und juristischen Personen (nachstehend Sektionen genannt) des Kantons Schaffhausen und der benachbarten Gebiete, soweit der genossenschaftliche Charakter gewährt bleibt. Der GVS und seine Tochtergesellschaften bezwecken in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe: Die Versorgung der Landwirtschaft und der Konsumenten mit Produktionsmitteln, Konsum- und Verbrauchsgütern, mit Investitionsgütern und Dienstleistungen. Die Veredelung und Vermarktung landwirtschaftlicher Produkte. Die Förderung der Landwirtschaft und die Wahrnehmung ihrer wirtschaftlichen Interessen. Die Abstimmung der Geschäftspolitik für die Bereiche Hilfsstoffe und Produkte mit den Produzenten. Durch gezielte Beiträge fördert er im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten auch das Kulturelle, mit Schwerpunkt auf Land und Bauernstand. Dies in Übereinkunft mit dem SHBV. Der GVS kann alle Tätigkeiten ausüben, welche mit seinem Zweck in direktem und indirektem Zusammenhang stehen. Er kann insbesondere Tochtergesellschaften im In- und Ausland errichte, sich an anderen Unternehmen im In- und Ausland beteiligen, sowie Grundeigentum erwerben, halten und veräussern.
