## Purpose

KITAWAS Kindertagesstätten ist ein gemeinnütziger, konfessionell und politisch neutraler Verein mit der Zielsetzung, in den beteiligten Gemeinden der Region Werdenberg und Sarganserland ein bedarfsgerechtes, sozial ausgestaltetes Angebot an familien- und schulergänzender Kinderbetreuung sicherzustellen. Es werden Kinder aufgenommen, deren Eltern aus finanziellen, sozialen oder anderen persönlichen Gründen eine Kinderbetreuung in Anspruch nehmen wollen. Das Angebot steht grundsätzlich allen Kindern offen. Die Aufnahme erfolgt unabhängig von Herkunft, Konfession, Nationalität und Einkommensverhältnissen. Sie steht in erster Linie Kindern mit Wohnsitz in den beteiligten Gemeinden und Kindern von Mitarbeitenden vertraglich beteiligter Unternehmungen und Institutionen offen. Bei genügender Kapazität werden auch Kinder aus anderen Gemeinden aufgenommen. Es besteht kein Rechtsanspruch auf Aufnahme. Der Verein ist ausschliesslich gemeinnützig tätig.
