## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt die Förderung und finanzielle Unterstützung der Ziele der weltweit unter den Bezeichnungen "kanthari" sowie "Braille Without Borders" auftretenden internationalen Organisationen für Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung, Kriegsüberlebende, ehemalige Strassenkinder, kurzum, Menschen aus Randgruppen sowie Social Entrepreneurs. Diese Organisationen fördern und unterstützen die Schulung, Ausbildung und Rehabilitation von Menschen aus den genannten Randgruppen, vornehmlich in Entwicklungsländern, aber auch in anderen Teilen der Welt. Sie werden durch die beiden Gründer Sabriye Tenberken, Trägerin zahlreicher Auszeichnungen, wie u.a. dem deutschen Bundesverdienstkreuz, und Paul Kronenberg seit 1998 geleitet und betrieben vorwiegend in Indien, aber auch in anderen Teilen der Welt, die von ihnen errichteten Berufs- und Ausbildungszentren mit dem Ziel, den Teilnehmenden die Selbstintegration in die Gesellschaft zu erleichtern. In diesem Sinne bezweckt die Stiftung die Mittelbeschaffung zur Sicherstellung der Zwecke der gemeinnützigen Organisationen "kanthari" sowie "Braille without Borders". Die Stiftung kann zu diesen Zwecken Informations- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit betreiben. Die Stiftung verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke und erstrebt keinen Gewinn.
