## Purpose

Die Stiftung bezweckt, das Schach unter der männlichen und weiblichen Jugend der Schweiz bis zum Alter von 20 Jahren im Sinne einer zielbewussten Freizeitgestaltung zu fördern, insbesondere durch: a) Veranstaltung und Unterstützung von Lehrkursen, Schachturnieren und Schachwettkämpfen für Jugendliche in der Schweiz b) Ermöglichung der Teilnahme von schweizerischen Jugendlichen an Schachveranstaltungen im Ausland. c) Propagierung des Schachs in Schulen und anderen Institutionen zur Ausbildung, Förderung und Erziehung von Jugendlichen. d) Werbung für das Jugendschach in Presse, Radio, Fernsehen etc. e) Unterstützung von Publikationen über das Jugendschach. Die Stiftung arbeitet in enger Fühlungsnahme mit der Nachwuchskommission des Schweizerischen Schachbundes. In Ausnahmefällen können Jugendspieler bis zum zurückgelegten 27. Altersjahr berücksichtigt werden.
