## Purpose

Der Verein fördert und unterstützt die Bestrebungen seiner Mitglieder, die Zertifizierungsbranche für Managementsysteme insbesondere, und andere Bereiche der Konformitätsbewertung voranzubringen, indem er die Marktförderung und Marktanerkennung sowie den Wissensaustauch, die technische Harmonisierung und auf Kooperation beruhende Geschäftsbeziehungen zwischen seinen Mitgliedern unterstützt, um Mehrwert für das Netzwerk zu schaffen. Der Verein bezweckt insbesondere: die Förderung der Marktanerkennung von Managementsystem-Zertifikaten, welche durch die Vereinsmitglieder und assoziierten Mitglieder (nachfolgend als Mitglieder bezeichnet) ausgestellt wurden; die Förderung und die Positionierung von IQNet, ihren Mitgliedern und angegliederten Unternehmen (zusammenfassend als Partner bezeichnet) bei Behörden, Interessen- und Anspruchsgruppen; Aktivitäten mit dem Ziel zu entwickeln, einen Beitrag zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung, zur Bekämpfung von Korruption und Bestechung, zur Völkerverständigung, zum Frieden, zum Wohlstand und für die weltweite Achtung und Einhaltung der Menschenrechte zu leisten; die fortlaufende Verbesserung der Qualität und dem weltweiten Geltungsbereich der Vereinsmitglieder; das Anstreben eines hohen Serviceniveaus und Wertschöpfung für die Vereinsmitglieder und die Kunden der Vereinsmitglieder; die Leistung eines Beitrags zu der Entwicklung von Verfahren und Promotionsmaterialien, welche die Partner untereinander abstimmen; die Bereitstellung von Information über IONet und dessen Partner in angemessener Form; das Bereitstellen von speziellen wertschöpfenden Produkten und Service für die Vereinsmitglieder und die Kunden der Vereinsmitglieder; das Erkennen allgemeiner Probleme und das Unterbreiten von Lösungsvorschlägen; die Sammlung zweckbezogener Information und deren Verteilung an seine Partner; die Entwicklung und Durchführung anderer Aktivitäten mit Bezug zu den obenerwähnten Zweckbestimmungen.
