## Purpose

Der Hauptzweck der IEO besteht darin, einen jährlichen Wettbewerb in Wirtschaft für Schüler auf Sekundarschulniveau zu organisieren. Ziel ist es, Schüler zu fördern, die an Volkswirtschaftslehre, finanzielle Führung und Betriebswirtschaftslehre interessiert sind, indem ihnen kreative Problemlösungen nahegebracht werden. Die IEO-Wettbewerbe fördern freundschaftliche Beziehungen zwischen Schülern verschiedener Nationalitäten und ermutigen so zu Kooperation und internationalem Verständnis. Die IEO und ihre Alumni-Gemeinschaft organisieren zusätzliche Wettbewerbe und Veranstaltungen, um den Austausch von Wissen in Volkswirtschaftslehre, finanzielle Führung und Betriebswirtschaftslehre zu fördern.
