## Purpose

Der Verein versteht sich als Zusammenschluss der Baufachorgane der privaten professionellen Bauherrschaften und fördert die Professionalisierung der Bauherrenfunktion. Mit vier strategischen Zielen unterstützt er seine Mitglieder in ihrer Tätigkeit: Mit IPB-Produkten und -Dienstleistungen einen operativen, wirtschaftlichen Mehrwert für die Mitglieder schaffen; Die Bauherrenkompetenz in den Mitgliedsfirmen fördern; Die Vernetzung unter den Mitgliedern fördern; Die Interessen der professionellen Bauherrschaften bündeln und nach aussen vertreten. Der Verein konzentriert sich auf Themenfelder in Bezug auf die obengenannten strategischen Ziele. Der Verein pflegt unter seinen Mitgliedern einen intensiven Know-How- und Erfahrungsaustausch auf der Funktionsstufe «Bauherrschaft, in der Verantwortung für Immobilienprojekte über den gesamten Bauprozess und den baulich-technischen Gebäudeunterhalt». Der Verein ist politisch unabhängig. Stellungnahmen und Allianzen mit anderen Verbänden oder Interessenvertretern zu Sachthemen sind möglich.
