## Purpose

Der Zweck von ICCO besteht darin, den Fortschritt auf dem Gebiet der Kieferorthopädie voranzutreiben, um die Lebensqualität betroffener Patienten zu verbessern. Die Ziele des ICCO sind die Förderung und Verbreitung von Wissen über die Kieferorthopädie und verwandte Gebiete. Weiteres Ziel ist es Kieferorthopäden, Zahnmediziner, Zahntechniker und andere Spezialisten in ihrer täglichen Arbeit zu unterstützen indem Lernen, Diskussion, Austausch und soziale Kontakte gefördert werden. ICCO ist eine Plattform um die qualitativ hochwertige Ausbildung in der Kieferorthopädie und verwandten Gebieten zu unterstützen. Der Verein soll eine massgebliche Ressource für aktuelle und aufkommende Probleme in der Kieferorthopädie für Zahnmediziner, Zahntechniker und verwandte Berufe werden. Der Verein ist politisch und konfessionell neutral. Die offiziellen Sprachen sind Deutsch und Englisch.
