Förderung, Anwendung und Weiterentwicklung der Logotherapie (Psychotherapie) und Existenzanalyse Viktor Frankl's (Prof. für Neurologie und Psychiatrie, Wien) mit der Zielsetzung einer wissenschaftlichen Integration der Logotherapie in anderen humanwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen, wie z.B. in der klinischen Psychologie, Medizin und Psychiatrie, Pädagogik, Philosophie, Theologie usw.; der Verein bietet eine berufsbegleitende Integrale psychotherapeutische Fachausbildung auf der Basis des existenzanalytisch-logotherapeutischen Menschenbildes, sowie eine Zusatzausbildung für logotherapeutisch-existenzanalytischer Beratung und Begleitung an, welche vier bis fünf Jahre dauern. Was die Integrale psychotherapeutische Fachausbildung betrifft, ist das ILE neben dem existenzanalytisch-logotherapeutischen Menschenbild auch den Normen der Schweiz. Charta für Psychotherapie verpflichtet.
