## Purpose

Förderung des Wehrgedankens u.a. durch Besinnung auf Tradition und Geschichte der Truppen des Kantons Basel-Landschaft, aber auch durch Gewährung finanzieller Unterstützung an Baselbieter Infanteristen, welche bei Ausübung des Dienstes erkrankten oder verunfallten und dadurch in wirtschaftliche Bedrängnis geraten sind oder aus anderem Grunde in eine Notlage kamen. Als "Baselbieter Infanteristen" im Sinne dieser Bestimmung gelten im Kanton Basel-Landschaft als Infanteristen rekrutierte Angehörige der Armee und des Bevölkerungsschutzes.
