## Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Unterstützung der Ausbildung des nichtärztlichen Anästhesiepersonals (Anästhesieschwestern / Anästhesiepfleger) auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene mit dem Ziel, die Qualität der Patientenbetreuung durch das Anästhesiepersonal zu verbessern. In diesem Zusammenhang beabsichtigt die Stiftung, unter anderem ein Ausbildungs- und ein Weiterbildungsprogramm zu organisieren. Zugleich wird sie die individuelle Weiterbildung von geeigneten Anästhesisten zu Ausbildern unterstützen. Sie wird auch Stipendien gewähren. Des weiteren wird die Stiftung nationale und internationale Forschungsprojekte für die Anästhesiepflege unterstützen.
