## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft bezweckt die Erleichterung des Erwerbes, der Erstellung und Erneuerung von selbstgenutztem Wohneigentum durch die Verbürgung von grundpfändlich sichergestellten Hypotheken und Vorschuss-Darlehen. Die Unterstützung erfolgt in Form einer Solidarbürgschaft. In erster Linie sollen diejenigen Projekte Unterstützung erfahren, welche die Anforderungen des Wohnraumförderungsgesetzes WFG des Bundes oder analoger kantonaler oder kommunaler Erlasse erfüllen. Die HBW kann im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen allfällige solidarische Rückbürgschaften des Bundes in Anspruch nehmen. Die Genossenschaft kann Verbänden beitreten und Rückbürgschaften eingehen. Sie kann auch Zweigniederlassungen eröffnen.
