## Purpose

Zweck der Stiftung ist die Errichtung und der Betrieb eines Behandlungs- und Schulungs-Zentrums für Hippotherapie. Im Einzelnen sollen namentlich: (1.) die Hippotherapie als therapeutische Massnahme unter Verwendung des Pferdes für Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung in der Region ermöglicht werden; (2.) auch weitere pferdegestützte Therapieformen wie insbesondere das heilpädagogische und psychotherapeutische Reiten sowie das Reiten und andere Interventionen mit dem Pferd für Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung ermöglicht werden; (3.) die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Therapeuten und Helfern in der pferdegestützten Therapie gefördert werden; (4.) die Erarbeitung wissenschaftlicher Grundlagen der pferdegestützten Therapie in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Universitätsspital Basel und anderen geeigneten wissenschaftlichen Institutionen ermöglicht werden; (5.) die Schulung geeigneter Pferde durchgeführt werden. Eine Nutzung von Liegenschaften für andere Aktivitäten zugunsten von Menschen mit einer Beeinträchtigung kann erfolgen, wenn die Erfüllung des Stiftungszwecks dadurch nicht beeinträchtigt wird.
