## Purpose

Die HPV bezweckt in ihrem Einzugsgebiet Kinder und Jugendliche mit einer Behinderung durch Sonderschulunterricht geistig und körperlich soweit wie möglich zu fördern, zu bilden und zu betreuen. Im Weiteren sieht die HPV ihre Aufgabe in der Behandlung sprachauffälliger Kinder sowie in der Durchführung oder Unterstützung von Projekten, welche auf die Prävention solcher Störungen gerichtet sind. Zur Erreichung des Vereinszwecks führt die HPV an ihrem Sitz eine Heilpädagogische Schule (nachfolgend HPS) und einen Logopädischen Dienst Mittelrheintal (nachfolgend LDM). HPV, HPS und LDM sind in Bezug auf Konfession, Nationalität und Herkunft neutral.
