## Purpose

Der Verein ist ein Zusammenschluss von RegisseurInnen und ProduzentInnen, die gemeinsam auf möglichst gute Voraussetzungen hinarbeiten möchten, um in der Schweiz künstlerisch wertvolle Kinofilme und audiovisuelle Werke herzustellen und Bedingungen zu schaffen, dass sie sich auf dem Markt behaupten können. Die Mitglieder setzen sich für eine offene Gesprächskultur untereinander und mit Partnern aus Politik, Verwaltung, Fernsehanstalten und Wirtschaft ein. Vor allem das Vertrauen zwischen RegisseurInnen und ProduzentInnen soll durch spartenübergreifende Grundsatzdiskussionen verbessert werden. Auf dieser Basis will der Verein mit vereinten Kräften zusätzliche Mittel für den Schweizer Film erschliessen und darauf hinwirken, dass die Förderinstrumente für die unabhängige Produktion und den Verleih ausgebaut werden.
