## Purpose

Der Verein, nachstehend auch Club oder GCL genannt, bezweckt die Pflege und Förderung des Golfsports, die Förderung des Tourismus sowie die Pflege der geselligen Beziehungen unter den Mitgliedern und Gästen. Der Club und seine Mitglieder verpflichten sich in jeder Beziehung, die Regeln des Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrew einzuhalten sowie die Direktiven und Reglemente von Swiss Golf (Dachverband Golfsport Schweiz) zu befolgen. Der Verein kann alle Massnahmen treffen, die diesem Zweck dienen. Insbesondere kann er Liegenschaften und Baurechte erwerben, mieten oder pachten, Gebäude erstellen oder mieten, Darlehen aufnehmen, einen seinen Mitgliedern und Gästen zugänglichen Restaurations- oder Hotelbetrieb mit Geschäften aller Art führen oder betreiben lassen, kurz alles unternehmen, was dem Vereinszweck im weitesten Sinne dienlich ist. Der GCL ist Mitglied bei Swiss Golf (Dachverband Golfsport in der Schweiz). Der Club organisiert und verwaltet die Vorgaben (Handicap).
