## Purpose

Die I-CH ist die für die Informatik Berufsbildung zuständige Organisation der Arbeitswelt gemäss Bundesgesetz über die Berufsbildung vom 13. Dezember 2002. Sie gestaltet und koordiniert die den Bedürfnissen der Arbeitswelt entsprechende flexible und zukunftsorientierte Informatik Berufsbildung in der Schweiz. Die durch I-CH wahrgenommene Gestaltung und Koordination der Informatik-Berufsbildung umfasst die Grund- und Weiterbildung in Berufen, deren Wertschöpfung überwiegend durch Informatik-Qualifikationen im Entwurf, in der Implementation, in der Integration, in der Qualitätssicherung, im Betrieb und im Unterhalt von Informatik-Hardware, Informatik-Software oder Informatik-Verfahren besteht. Die I-CH verfolgt die laufenden Entwicklungen der Berufsbildung, schafft bei Bedarf neue Qualifikationen und bindet Erkenntnisse der Forschung und Entwicklung in ihre Arbeit ein. Die I-CH kann Zweigniederlassungen errichten und Tochtergesellschaften gründen und sich an anderen Unternehmungen beteiligen. Die I-CH ist berechtigt, Grundeigentum zu erwerben, zu belasten, zu veräussern und zu verwalten. Die I-CH kann im Übrigen alle Geschäfte tätigen, die geeignet sind, die Entwicklung der Genossenschaft und die Erreichung des Genossenschaftszweckes zu fördern.
