## Purpose

Bezweckt durch finanzielle Unterstützung die Durchführung einer regelmässig an der ETH Zürich stattfindenden Gastvorlesung, genannt "GEP-Vorlesung". Die "GEP-Vorlesungen" sollen zu aktuellen Themen aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft Stellung beziehen und sich im weitesten Sinne mit den Aufgaben, der Verantwortung und aktuellen Problemen der ETH-Absolventen und ETH-Absolventinnen in Beruf und Gesellschaft sowie den Herausforderungen der ETH Zürich in Lehre und Forschung befassen. Die Referenten sind international anerkannte Persönlichkeiten von hohem Ansehen und sollen durch ihren Vortrag zur Stärkung der internationalen Führungsposition der ETH Zürich, sowie der zusätzlichen Identifikation der ehemaligen Absolventen und Absolventinnen mit ihrer Alma Mater beitragen.
