## Purpose

Verbürgung von Krediten und Darlehen zugunsten der Genossenschafter sowie weiteren KMU, die nicht Genossenschafter sind, in Ergänzung der Tätigkeit der vom Bund anerkannten regionalen gewerblichen Bürgschaftsorganisationen. Die Zentralstelle verfolgt im Sinne ihres Zwecks öffentliche Aufgaben und handelt uneigennützig. Sie strebt keinen Erwerbszweck an. Dieser Zweck wird unter anderem erreicht durch: a) Die Beteiligung an Verlustrisiko (Risikosplitting) aus Bürgschaften von gewerblichen Bürgschaftsorganisationen. b) Die Verbürgung von Krediten zugunsten von kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen in Berggebieten sowie die Betreuung der Abwicklung der Zinskostenverbilligung des Bundes für solche Unternehmen. Für diese Bürgschaftsgewährung und diese Zinskostenverbilligung sind die Bestimmungen des Bundesgesetzes vom 25. Juni 1976 / 5. Oktober 1984über die Gewährung von Bürgschaften und Zinskostenbeiträgen in Berggebieten und der diesbezüglichen Vollziehungsverordnung massgebend.
