## Purpose

Zweck der Genossenschaft ist die Unterstützung von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern sowie von deren Angehörigen, sofern sie an den Volksschulen im Kanton Zürich unterrichten oder während mindestens zweier Jahre unterrichtet haben. Die Unterstützung erfolgt in Notlagen sowie für die berufsspezifische Weiterbildung, subsidiär zu Leistungen aus anderen Quellen, in Form von direkten Zuschüssen, Übernahme von Kosten oder Gewährung von Darlehen. Ein Rechtsanspruch auf Unterstützung besteht nicht. Soweit das ausgewiesene Eigenkapital mindestens CHF 2'000'000 beträgt, kann die Genossenschaft auch die berufsspezifische Aus- und Weiterbildung von Lehrpersonen unterstützen, die Kinder im Volksschulalter ausserhalb des Kantons Zürich im In- und Ausland unterrichten.
