Freie Mittel sind ausschliesslich zur Förderung der Buchbranche (z.B. für Aus- und Weiterbildung, Leseförderung und Werbung) einzusetzen. Nur in Urabstimmungen beschliessen die Genossenschaftsmitglieder über die konkrete Verwendung der freien Mittel.
