## Purpose

Der Zweck der Genossenschaft besteht in der Förderung der Erhaltung von ausgesuchtem, historisch wertvollem Eisenbahnmaterial (insbesondere Dampflokomotiven) in betriebsfähigem Zustand. Dies erfolgt durch Sammlung und Weitergabe von Finanzmitteln zur Beschaffung und zum Unterhalt solchen Materials mittels Darlehen. Die Finanzmittel sollen nur an gemeinnützige Organisationen vergeben werden, die den obigen Zweck (Erhaltung von historisch wertvollem Eisenbahnmaterial) verfolgen. Die Genossenschaft ist selbstlos tätig; sie verfolgt keine wirtschaftlichen Zwecke. Allfällige Überschüsse dürfen nur gemäss Art. 2 Abs. 1 und 2 dieser Statuten verwendet werden. Die Mitglieder haben keinerlei Anspruch auf Ertrag oder Kapital der Genossenschaft; dies gilt auch im Falle der Liquidation.
