## Purpose

Die Genossenschaft verfolgt den Zweck, vorwiegend Senioren der Gemeinde Küsnacht und Umgebung in gemeinsamer Selbsthilfe preiswerte Alterswohnungen auf der Basis der Kostenmiete zur Verfügung zu stellen. Sie ist berechtigt, zu diesem Zwecke Bauland oder Liegenschaften zu erwerben und Baurechtsverträge abzuschliessen sowie geeignete Wohnungen Dritter zur Weitervermietung im Sinne der Genossenschaft zu übernehmen. Die Genossenschaft kann Förderinstrumente nach dem eidgenössischen Wohnraumförderungsgesetz bzw. entsprechenden kantonalen oder kommunalen Gesetzen beanspruchen. Die Genossenschaft sorgt für einen laufenden Unterhalt und eine periodische Erneuerung der bestehenden Bauten. Dazu gehört auch die Errichtung von Ersatzneubauten, wenn die bestehenden Bauten nicht mehr auf wirtschaftlich vertretbare Art und Weise erneuert werden können.Die Tätigkeit der Genossenschaft ist gemeinnützig und nicht gewinnstrebig. Sie ist politisch und konfessionell neutral. Die Genossenschaft kann sich an Unternehmen und Organisationen mit gleichen oder ähnlichen Zielsetzungen beteiligen. Sie kann die Mitgliedschaft bei Dachorganisationen gemeinnütziger Baugenossenschaften erwerben. Der Vorstand unterstützt die Bewohner durch die Organisation eines geeigneten Kontaktsystems. Im Rahmen dieses Systems sind Dienstleistungen Dritter zugelassen (Wohnen mit Service).
